The Clemson University School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences (SCEEES) invites applications to fill a tenured/tenure-track position with a focus on Geo-Environmental Engineering. Candidates are desired with expertise in one or more of the following areas: subsurface transport and remediation of organic, inorganic, metals, and radioactive contaminants, radioactive waste isolation, geologic storage and production of hydrogen, geological carbon sequestration, subsurface energy storage, brownfield development, municipal, industrial, and mining waste containment systems, re-use of waste materials, and reduction of climate change and sea level rise impacts. A Fall 2024 appointment is anticipated with the position at the assistant or associate professor level. The successful candidates will have an earned PhD in Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or in a closely related discipline.
