A faculty position in Radiological Health Physics has just opened at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The preferred areas of interest for the faculty member are radiochemistry, nuclear forensics, and nuclear security. The link to the job announcement is:

In summary, the faculty position will begin in September of 2019. The successful applicant would be engaged in teaching and research in Health Physics and must possess the Ph.D. degree in Health Physics, Physics, or a closely related area. Excellent English communications skills are required, and the applicant must have demonstrated the ability to teach subject matter, at the graduate level, in health physics and to carry out research in this area (radiochemistry, nuclear forensics, and nuclear security are of particular interest), including having published research findings in technical reports or refereed scientific journals. The successful candidate will be expected to have a sound working knowledge of laboratory and field instrumentation used in measuring ionizing radiation, radioactivity analysis, external and internal radiation dosimetry, radiation shielding, and an active involvement in research.
