The University of Missouri is pleased to announce an international search for the Executive Director of the MU Research Reactor Center, MURR®. MURR® is a multidisciplinary center with the three-fold mission of promoting research in the sciences and engineering, providing educational and training opportunities for students, and providing irradiation and isotope production services. The selected individual will devise and implement the tactics necessary to realize the University’s vision for this unique national resource: continued safe and reliable operation to provide quality nuclear services and products to both the research and global community. The selected individual will also be responsible for engaging academic departments on campus and clearly advocating the reactor’s role in the University mission of education and research excellence.
